Zen Loc Alarm
The Zen Loc Container Alarm is a remote indicator of attempted interference with the doors of SEALED containers or metal doors. The alarm can be used for both metal containers and the majority of fixed rigid vehicles using the dry freight door system with the locking lever at the centre bottom of these up/over doors and notifies the owner if their container has been tampered with.
How easy was it to use? - Alarm was very easy to install and setup
Were the instructions clear? - Very clear instructions
Deterrent value? - Whilst the siren would attract attention, we feel the presece of the alarm would make containers a target as it would imply a more valuable load in the container
How will it prevent crime? - Amateurs may be put off, but organised criminals would come equipped to deal with the alarm
Value for Money? (against retail cost?) - A Bulldog lock cost us £30.00, the Zen Loc alarm would be too expensive to fit to our entire fleet
How does it / will it work? - The alarm would work, but could be easily overcome
Would you recommend it? - No
