VOSA
The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) were given the power to stop motorists for roadside checks from 2004 and began using marked cars for this activity.

VOSA officers operate using distinctly liveried Ford Galaxies with yellow and black battenburg side markings, yellow and orange chevrons at the rear and a roof bar with amber lights and variable matrix signing. Many drivers have been stopped by people claiming to be VOSA official.
