This section of the website features survey results from surveys undertake by LSN.
2009 – Crime Against Business Survey
During 2009 the LSN surveyed a range of businesses from the freight and logistics industry. The aim of the survey was to examine the impact of crime on the freight and logistics sector and find ways in which the LSN can support businesses and help reduce the impact of crime.
2010 – Secure Parking Survey
During the summer months of 2010, LSN conducted a survey to gain the views of drivers and transport operators on secure parking. Working in association with Stammtisch*, LSN received over 300 responses from across the UK.
*Stammtisch originated in Germany and loosely translates as „a regular get-together or meeting‟. It is applied to a truckers event arranged by traffic police to give truck drivers the opportunity to speak, in confidence, to police.
